On Those Candles I Wish For You

I am not here to talk about my birthday which was a blast by the way. From counting down the clock tick-tocking to midnight to a celebration fit for a prince lasting almost a week long. I just woke up from a massive hangover of sort to doodle this quick shoutout here before continuing this party that i am pretty happy about. I have to get set or else i will be late. I have to be at Raffles Place latest eight. Coming home late then karaoke with the beautiful girls all six of them at Clark Quay singing my hearts out Saturday afternoon. Dinner should be sumptuous and all these while my flimsy wallet remains intact. I do not have to sign for no nothing. All expenses paid for. There is no capacity in my vocabulary to begin reinstating and describing in paper the pleasure and beauty of this special day that comes annually. However i can begin to express a great disappoinment. My one and only adversity. That he who have been through so much with me and understands me best did not even care or bother to raise that phone and dial me a greeting. Perhaps it is just too much to do. Amidst the fact that i told him so to remain silent on the 20th of June that true to his promise a man of his word he did as he was told. I believe that in special circumstances and occasions an oath no matter strong can and should be deliberated. Our bond is more reinforced than all put together dear brother. The last time we met was two days before my birthday and i am missing you already. I have not heard from you since then. Till today you are yet to call. I hope you are well. Surely once in a year you can spare a thought but i am cool. Just a little hurt. I will mention not this issue at all no more. I am done. Just here. It is no big deal. I understand our situation.
