Do Not Pass On Me Yet

I wish he was dead or he could just lie flat and die. But big bro said it is no good to hope for such bad things of something so tragic to happen on people. I did some reflecting and i thought to myself that if it is really time for him to go although that is what i am rooting for - i can be quite certain that his demise will bear a toll on me. Then i told big bro: "Sometimes what we want so bad is not what is best for us!" I am right. He nodded in approval.

I had not seen him on msn for the longest time. I pray for his safety and i hope he is well and fine.

Cheers To The High Life

I lead a carefree lifestyle living in luxury. Those were the words of elder brother. He is like a wise sage and i take into considerations his wisdom and virtue seriously (only sometimes). I will have to heed his warnings before i exhaust all my money and funds. I was away on a holiday at Bali for about seven days flying on the world's finest and accommodating at nothing less than the best. In Bali i find peace. Indeed i found paradise on earth. My sanctuary. I will be arranging for another trip there soon. I just upgraded gold card to platinum. I dined in opulence and i shoped in extravangance. I bought the Nokia N95 once released in the market less then six months ago and now i upgraded to the latest version - The Nokia N95 8GB. I have no use for such an abundance of capacity in a phone but i got it anyway. Costing over a thousand. Each. Then came the third generation I-Pod nano and the state of the art speakers that looks really cool in my hall. I bought lots of PSP games of late as i do not support downloadings of illegal games. I also splurge on trendy Ralph Laurens and classy Burberrys. Din freaked when i got him Calvin Klein boxers but he likes them both. I stocked up on limited edition shoes and piled up on clothes to usher in 2008. In January i will be celebrating Din's birthday onboard a lavish cruise for a few days. I am aghast at my excessive and absurd indulgence.

Funny Boy

Let me tell you a story about a boy who gave a new meaning to the term nitwit. Aizuddin is his name and he cracked me up. He is funny and he makes me laugh - all the time. Especially this incident that i am about to relate. Him and i met before i flew off to Bali. He wanted to watch this movie pretty badly and as usual i succumbed to his demands. But there was a major problem. It was a Korean soap drama. Never had i ever witness such elaborate atrocity in human history. Not even on television. No offense to the legions of Korean fans. The title of the movie is Hero. Apparently the title appeared macho and dignifed to him but sounded off a little too cliche to me. He was telling me all about it - how good it was - plus the exaggeration.

He was enticing me with juicy details and spicy screenplays - such as this Japanese dude who can teleport to New York City when he is halfway around the world. Sounds interesting but ironically familiar. Like the serial HeroES on Mediacorp every Monday night that had been running for weeks already. I had watched the full season on cable. I did not inform him of the striking resemblance because he claimed that he had viewed the trailer of this movie on the internet about people performing amazing feats. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and went hunting for the tickets. It was shown only on Golden Village. Not even on Cathay. I thought it was unpopular but he said it was because the show had been out for awhile. I just rolled my eyes.

Him and i made all the way to Plaza Singapura only to watch a Korean crap about some lame court case that made us miss the last train home. I anticipated the movie to end nicely before midnight but sadly i painstakingly sat through the excruciating three hours which seemed to last an eternity. Aizuddin laughed at jokes i knew he understood nuts about - because he was feeling bad and he feared i might freak. It was so fake and i could tell he was dozing off. I tried to make best out of lousy situations and paid attention to the once in lifetime opportunity. He knew something was wrong the moment Hero started - but said nothing of it. Thank God there were the subtitles. We two were the only malays. Imagine the embarrassment.

Oh shucks. Mr Tong knew i went surfing. That was the first thing he asked me when he saw me in class after the long absence - if i went riding the waves again. He was spot on. I had to nod. He said i was getting too dark and that the teachers were talking. I am in the limelight again - for the wrong reasons. Talking about garnering all the attention huh. I hope these people will have better things to do than to gossip about students. It was like he knew where i went and what i did. Smart guess. He was worried and disappointed that i gave the examination a miss. Oh well. I care not no more and damn this tan. I know i look dark and i cannot hide it. It was that obvious huh. Duh.

Pssst! There is no way i can acquire this colour especially in rainy Singapore these days!

There are better things for me to handle and settle outside than to attend school.
