Under The Weather

Been sneezing lately possibly maybe i am just too allergic to my kitty cat or simply because my immune system is on holiday. The hard part about being a proud owner of a bachelor pad is the tedious responsibility of cleaning up. Especially after a party or when friends crash over for a football match on the television. Oh and on one of those movie nights over a drink or two with peanuts to go along. It can get really ugly when fraternity boys get together. I am not much of a proper person myself to be honest and it is demanding enough for a busy man like myself to keep the house sterilised and tidy let alone spick and span. But so far so good. I had been doing a rather good job. No complaints from guests. Just the occassional guilt of knowing the floor had not been swept and mopped much. I hope my brother will do it soon. Talking about my dear brother he too had been physically ill other than the usual sickness in the brain nonsense. Considering that he was even hardly sick in a year and suddenly taking medical leaves from school for up to four days in a week is quite remarkable i must say. Him and i are strong individuals trained and blessed with a high threshold and tolerance for pathogenic protoplasm or bacterium and viruses but however unfortunately i was hit the worst. The trip down to the Polyclinic was a painful one. It was like a fall from grace. I must also add that the syrup did no miracle to my stubborn and definitely persistent cough. For once i kept to the course quite religiously and even emptied the bottle to its last drop. Of course i was pissed. I waited in line for what seemed to be an eternity for a less then five minutes consultation with the grouchy doctor. I suspected he prescribed me the wrong medicine. My cough only started subsiding after i tried my brother's cough syrup. I am feeling much better and stronger now. Been eating and growing. I may not be entirely healthy but i am happy.
